The keynote speaker Jeff Swystun, Chief Communications Officer at DDB Worldwide revealed how brand communications have moved from monologue to dialogue. Summit attendees captured key insights from “The Nature of Marketing: Marketing to the Swarm as well as the Herd.” The book, written by Chuck Brymer, President and CEO of DDB Worldwide, lays out a well-documented case that traditional marketing and branding are as important as ever. However, the doctrine of herd marketing (one-way mass communications) must be adjacent to the new realities of swarm marketing - the power of people communicating to each other in unprecedented speed and numbers.

Freddie Baird, EVP and COO of QuantumDigital, offered an overview of equipment and processes that are critical for executing timed, targeted and personalized direct marketing campaigns that drive results.
“We are energized about the outcome and interest generated from this year’s event,” said Steve Damman, President and CEO of QuantumDigital. “In this ever-evolving market, we believe it is central to our efforts to foster education and communication among advertising and marketing agencies, sharing knowledge, challenges and best practices.
